Skye Gibson

My name is Skye, and I live with my family in beautiful lutruwita/Tasmania, near kanamaluka/River Tamar.

I see my life as an epic adventure of self-discovery and a devotion to the deep healing work of reclaiming and embodying my wholeness. I am a wild-hearted wanderer of the realm of the soul and have been into the abyss and back many times over, leading me to the awakening of the powerful medicine that lives in me - that lives in all of us. Walking this path has taken me through countless cycles of living and dying, falling apart and re-membering, learning, experiencing, exploring, discovering, letting go, descending, rising and transcending, loving and breaking, destroying and creating. Decades later, I have arrived at a place where I serve as a guide who lovingly holds space for others to awaken or deepen their own inner medicine.

I work with people from all over the world, guiding and supporting them on their journeys of personal evolution so they can experience greater joy, ease, vitality, love, and overall health and wellbeing. The sacred energetic work I offer is a way for people to journey to the deep and hidden places within – where they can identify and shift energy patterns, transform limiting beliefs, befriend their fears, and claim their personal power.

Through the sacred energetic work we do together, people are guided towards navigating and overcoming their challenges and transitions with conscious awareness and lightheartedness.

At the heart of my work is a profound love for our humanness, from our messiness and fallibility to our infinite potential as powerful creators. I come from a place that sees the human experience as the gateway to embodying our luminous Self. The work I do is not about bypassing our humanness, but by descending into it to experience it more fully. Perhaps most importantly, I absolutely love what I do and I love seeing others light up when they too experience this work.

My medicine weaves together sacred energy work, liminal journeying, visionary guidance, sound and storytelling, and much more. I have trained extensively as both practitioner and teacher of the Andean mystical tradition and sacred healing arts - mostly through my primary teacher and mentor, Joan Parisi Wilcox. Through Joan, I am fortunate enough to have been initiated as a mesa carrier (medicine carrier) into two esteemed lineages of master paqos (healers/mystics) from Q’ero and Wasao.

I have also trained in shamanic healing and work with eco-somatic practices that are aligned with the Andean tradition. I have developed strong visionary intuition through years of ‘experiencing’ and working with energy and spirit guides - channeling and working with highest frequency energies. This allows me to offer deep insights and to help people see beyond their ‘stories’ so that they can experience the personal liberation that comes when we are able to see ourselves and our lives from an empowering, rather than disempowering, perspective.

I hold a gentle, caring and loving space for people, a space where you are seen and heard. I invite you to be exactly who you are in that moment. I create a space in which it feels safe to see the parts of yourself that you might not already see, or might not have wanted to see. When doing this work, I encourage laughter, playfulness, curiosity and raw honesty. These are powerful medicines all on their own. When we bring these medicines into our daily practice, we can be in love with all of life, whatever our circumstances. We cultivate a state of inner peace and joyfulness.

Through commitment to inner work, people embark on a journey to discover what it means to be whole. It is the path to deep knowing, where we can step into our full potential as powerful creators, and share our unique gifts with the world.

Soul medicine is a gentle and powerful approach to achieving whole-person health and wellbeing that focuses on working at the energetic level, the light body

Imagine your whole Self as a fine tapestry, a completely unique creation woven with the greatest love and care. It is infused with the essence of your spirit - a vibrant life-force energy that contains your infinite potential, and all your precious gifts. Your soul is an energetic imprint weaving through the physical form. It is your humanness.

But you feel that the tapestry has faded in parts, leaving the whole image obscured and dull, though somewhat recognizable in parts. In certain places there are patches that have been roughly stitched, hiding something underneath. There are plenty of loose threads and some very threadbare parts. In other places the thread is completely unravelled. Some of the edges are frayed. Maybe it feels like it’s in tatters! But there’s a glimpse of something radiant, something a little otherworldly, ethereal. You want to see it. You want to know what it is. You want to remember.

And so our work begins…

We snip the threads of things that do not serve us. We take shimmering thread of many colours, and we lovingly and gently restore the fabric. We remove the patches with care, unpicking the hasty, coarse stitches one by one, to reveal what’s underneath. We get curious. We look, we see, and we touch these tender and forgotten places that we covered up. As we lovingly observe them, we find that they don’t need the patches anymore.

Gradually, as we breathe life into the fabric, as we reweave and remember…as we love, and learn and care, the tapestry is restored. It is whole again. In soul medicine we feel a song arising from within us, reminding us of who we truly are. We listen to the song and let it guide us home.

You see…everything we need is already there. It just needs our love and our energy. You are already everything you need to be. When we shatter the illusion that there was ever anything ‘wrong’ in the first place, we have discovered the path to our empowerment and the embodiment of our soul.
