This Privacy Policy describes how Sowelu Soul Medicine ("I", "me", or "my") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit my website, subscribe to my newsletter or community membership, book a 1:1 session, or register for my workshops, classes, and online programs.

2. Personal Information I Collect
Depending on how you interact with my website, I may collect the following information:

  • For Newsletters: Your name and email address when you voluntarily sign up for updates.

  • For Workshops & Classes; Online programs;  Community Membership Subscription; 1:1 Sessions: Your contact details, billing information (processed securely), and any additional information you provide via booking forms (such as your emergency contact information, goals, background, dietary restrictions, or accessibility needs).

  • For Website Analytics: Basic, anonymous data about how you interact with my website (like pages visited) to help me improve my user experience.

3. How I Use Your Information
I use the information I collect to:

  • Process your payment and secure your place in a workshop, class, online program, community membership, or 1:1 session booking.

  • Deliver my services tailored to your provided details.

  • Send you automated booking confirmations, event details, and scheduling updates.

  • Send you my email newsletter (only if you have explicitly chosen to opt-in). You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time using the link at the bottom of the email.

4. Sharing Your Information with Third Parties
I do not sell or rent your personal data. I only share your information with trusted third-party service providers necessary to run my business and deliver my services:

  • Squarespace: To host my website, store my client database, and manage my e-commerce platform.

  • Payment Processors (Stripe / PayPal): Your financial transactions are managed entirely by secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways. I do not store or view your credit card details on my servers.

  • Mailchimp: If you subscribe to my newsletter, your name and email are stored securely on Mailchimp’s servers. I use Mailchimp to distribute my marketing updates, and you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link.

  • Google Workspace / Gmail: I use Google to host my business email account. Your emails, contact details, and communication history are stored securely on Google’s servers to allow me to respond to your queries, communicate with groups/communities for events and programs and manage our 1:1 scheduling. If you are part of a regular community group or event, I will use Gmail to send you group updates and recordings, and schedule events. You can opt out of these updates at any time by simply replying to any of my emails and letting me know you would like to be removed from the list.

5. Confidentiality of 1:1 Sessions
Any notes, personal histories, or sensitive information shared during our 1:1 sessions are kept strictly confidential and stored securely. I will never disclose details of our sessions to any third party without your explicit written consent, unless required by law.

6. Your Rights
